On to the second track of the record. Much more straight forward than SKEEVED. We got a nice gritty bass sound for this one… I have since changed amps because the Mesa Boogie was really really unreliable in live situations, and with my temper, that is not a good thing.
I remember when I went to the first audition and Schrecker told Jon to play the main riff in MANIAC and I always wondered when the hell I was going to record that song. If you caught on already, you know that the capital letters in the title MAN In A Car spell out MANIAC. Now does this have anything to do with the song… or about the person that wrote the lyrics??? Hmmm I wonder.
